I will arise and go now, and go to Innisfree, And a small cabin build there, of clay and wattles made: Nine bean-rows will I have there, a hive for the honey-bee; And live alone in the bee-loud glade.
And I shall have some peace there, for peace comes dropping slow, Dropping from the veils of the morning to where the cricket sings; There midnight's all a glimmer, and noon a purple glow, And evening full of the linnet's wings.
I will arise and go now, for always night and day I hear lake water lapping with low sounds by the shore; While I stand on the roadway, or on the pavements grey, I hear it in the deep heart's core.
My turn...There are several things I like about this photo... The use of lines, reflection, the fact that the horizon is level (brownie points with me)... "Grey light" as we call it here, (the "almost light" as we sit out waiting for sunrise in hunting season...) is difficult to work with at best...but I noticed the ever-so-slight tinge of pink, promising a new day...very kool... The bird is an absolute exclamation point at the end of the line, the tree line is as hazy as it occurs naturally...Though myself, I may have bumped up the blacks just a notch, maybe two-but not enough to be obvious..."clarity" would bleach out the sky a bit, I think.. I do not see the point in removing anything from a photo unless it is indeed a sensor problem, (which I can't see here) or an obnoxious powerline in a landscape...and then, only if it is seriously offensive... I try to take one photo only, except for critters and portraits as a rule, in order to improve my composition and ability to "see" what I want SOC...For example-if there were no shoreline or objects to the left...I would have turned to the left, in order to minimize the space to the right...but not too much... Simplicity can be an awesome thing...rules were made to be broken, and if you get too technical, then it becomes science-not art... Keep up YOUR vision...for it IS yours...
NOTHING needs to be changed.............this pic. is what it is! I have seen the World and I have seen this before........it totally captures everything I have seen. The 'above' critique is nonsense to me......this is real life. PLEASE do NOT change a thing. Waking up in the East...........in the very early morning, before the sun rises...........this is exactly what I have seen. Magnificent. PLEASE keep on going.......do NOT get implicated in Critiques like the above. I am so interested that you kept this completely 'pure!' Thank you so much HUGS Jenny Well done. I am always 'watching' you First class.
What a perfect nice moment! This picture is so simple and yet so beautiful, I would see it hanging on a wall... and this bird is the cherry on top of the cake if I may say Very well done
