At first this shot might look simple, but when you take a look at it properly, it's beautiful and very detailed. The wolf has very meaningful look; the gaze in the eyes, the slightly open mouth and the ears' position tell you more than words can ever tell about this.
In my opinion it does look like she/he is longing for someone, and as the title says "Can you hear me?", also calling for someone.

I think this photo is wistful, and doesn't it make us all think about what we are yearning for?

I also really like how the light affects to the fur, and how the wolf is in the forefront and the background is blurred, but still has some lighter spots.
